6 Weeks...Sort Of

We found Lauren holding her pacifier after we put her in her car seat to leave for the eye doctor. She has been way more active the last week and will occasionally grab her paci and hold it. I'm sure it's more by chance, but it still is pretty cute. Many of you know the size of the pacifier that is pictured so you can see how small her hands & fingers are.
Look at how strong I am! Lauren LOVES to hold her head up and look around when she is on her tummy.
My all time favorite position of any baby is when they have their little legs curled up like this. Sometimes she has her little arms curled up too and it melts my heart...SO CUTE!

Yesterday's eye exam showed that things are still regressing. Dr. Wheeler is a little shocked that her eyes are taking their sweet time to regress. Usually it is a little faster I guess. We don't care that it is taking longer, we're just happy they are getting better on their own.

We switched to the Prilosec hoping that it would help more than the Zantac. So far we are NOT impressed and are going to switch back to the Zantac tonight. It will actually be easier to have her on the Zantac because the Prilosec has to be compounded and is only good for 14 days after it is mixed. So that means that we would pay 2 co-pays per month instead of 1. We would be fine with doing that if it worked, but we're pretty sure it's not. It was worth a try though.

Lauren is 6 weeks corrected age and 4.5 months actual age today!
