Lauren has received her 3 doses of Indocin and we are very hopeful it is working to close her PDA. This morning the doctor said her murmur was not as loud as yesterday which could be an indication that the Indocin is working. Her urinary output seems to be doing alright for now which is good news. Her blood sugars continue to fluctuate and her electrolytes seem to be doing better. She seems to finally be gaining weight and was 1lb 6.6oz this evening. If her labs/blood gases still look stable and she continues to do well on the ventilator the plan is to extubate her tomorrow morning and try CPAP again. Lauren was laying on her tummy while we were there today. She looked very comfy. She must get liking to sleep on her tummy from her mom. :)

Little Belly Sleeper
