Lauren is back on CPAP! Hopefully she will tolerate it well & be on it longer than last time. We know that this is a great step forward, but know it may not be permanent. Lauren's PDA is still present, so they are going to do another 3 doses on Indocin. Because the first 3 doses did manage to make some progress to close it, hopefully 3 more will do the job. If not, she may have to have a small clip surgically placed to ensure that it closes. They did reduce her milk feedings to make sure everything goes alright while she is on the Indocin. Some really great news we learned of today was that Lauren's follow up head ultrasound showed no brain bleeds! The doctor said that the original one the radiologist thought he saw was actually probably more of a shadow and not a small bleed. She will have one more scan before discharge and hopefully it will show no bleeds again. She has gained more weight and is at 1lb and almost 8oz! She continues to amaze us with all her strength.

More CPAP

She looks so cozy wrapped in the blanket! So glad she's back on CPAP and the great news about her brain! Her weight gain is also very exciting! Hope you guys are doing well!
